Forestbrook is a very popular location in the Myrtle Beach area. Technically Forestbrook is not really a city but rather a "census-designated place" in Horry County. Forestbrook is located in southern Horry County just 5 miles north/northwest of Myrtle Beach. The northeast border of Forestbrook is Highway 501 and the northwest border of Forestbrook is Highway 31. The new home community of Forestbrook Preserve is located in the heart of Forestbrook - just west of the Intracoastal Waterway!

Situated right off of Forestbrook Road, Forestbrook Preserve has a location that is convenient to all of the major Myrtle Beach area highway, including Highway 544, Highway 31, Highway 501 and Highway 17.

There were 220 single family homes developed on the 92 acres in Forestbrook Preserve. Development in Forestbrook Preserve began in 2015 and development was completed in 2020.
